Crime Writers of Canada Finalist

The Man from Mittelwerk has been shortlisted as a finalist for best first novel by the Crime Writers of Canada. This was pretty exciting news for my brother and I. We are nominated along with four other books. The full list is:

  • T. Lawrence Davis, The Pale Horse, Friesen Press

  • Bill Edwards, Killer Time, Friesen Press

  • Adam Frost, The Damned Lovely, Down and Out Books

  • Sam Shelstad, Citizens of Light, TouchWood Editions

  • M.Z. Urlocker, The Man from Mittelwerk, Inkshares, Inc.

The awards for best crime novel, best first novel, best crime novella, best crime short story, best non-fiction crime book will be announced May 25.
